Dollar General

On the north side of Highway 30, across from Casey's is the future home of the Dollar General. Construction was started last week and if weather is cooperative they hope to have it built by Thanksgiving. No word on how long it will take to stock the shelves and hire employees, so do not have an opening date yet. Please watch the city website for additional information on progress of Dollar General.
New Employee

Our newest employee is Chris Kruse. He will be part of our public works and will work with Don in the water, waste water and street departments. Chris lives in Delavan with his wife. He has been a member of Delavan's fire department for 16 years and on their city council since 2020. Please welcome Chris to the City of Amboy.

Water Line Inspections

Thank you to the residents that have sent in photos of your water line connections as requested. If you have not done so, you may still email picture of water pipe coming into your house with our meter to patty@amboymn.com or text 507-327-8422. Please include name and address.
Reverse Osmosis System
11/8/2023
January 5, 2023 - The Reverse Osmosis system is online. Residents should start to see an improvement in their water quality. A notice on the RO system will be sent out next week through the post office.
