The City of Amboy will begin flushing the water mains the week of October 19 - 22, 2026. During this activity, some customers may experience temporary discoloration of their water and/or low water pressure. Residents are advised to not wash clothes as rusty water could occur during the flushing time and for a couple of hours following the flushing of the mains in your area.

Public works will be vacuuming city streets/gutters of leaves. If a resident would like their leaves vacuumed from the curb it would be a $50.00 service charge for leaf pickup at the curb. Public works will not rake your yard. Please contact city hall 507-674-3018 or public works to be put on schedule.
The service fee will be added to your December utility bill for each time you request this service. Residents are encouraged to mulch leaves and/or take to city compost site.
