Blue Earth County Emergency Managment, in partnership with the cities within the county, will be conducting a countywide siren assessment project. Actual siren testing will be occuring during the week of April 20. They will be in Amboy this week and we do not know what day. The tests may occur during daytime or evening hours.
When they come to do the testing, residents may hear brief intermittent siren sounds as part of the testing process. These tests will be short in duration.
Important: In the event of an actual tornado warning, sirens will sound continuously for 2 full minutes.
