Lions and Community Club

The Amboy Lions Club has been active since 1982. They meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 8:30 AM at the Amboy Library. Amboy Lions have activites through out the year to raise money for scholarships, honor our veterans, and help children in need. Lions Annual Bake Sale - May 8, 2026 

11:30 AM - 3:30 PM held at the fire station

Will also be grilling porkchops, hots dogs, and brats for sale.

If you are able to donate baked goods, please have them packaged for sale and at the firehall by eleven.

June 12 - 13  - support the Amboy Lions when you come over for Mapleton's City Festival.

Our proceeds go to community needs, such as the Maple River Dollar for Scholars, Amboy residents with medical hardships, Veterans Memorial and Lion sponsored Diabetes, Cancer, Can Do Canines are just a few that we donate to. 

 

 

 

 

The Lions were gifted a scooter to be given out on loan to someone in the community that may need extra assistance in getting around.  If you are interested in using the scooter on loan, please contact a Lion member or come to a meeting to request.

 

 

 

 

 

Community Club plans many events in Amboy, including our annual celebration in September.  If you would like to be involved in Community Club, they meet the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Amboy Cottage Cafe. Join them to help plan our city celebration to be held September 11 - 13,  2026.
