Reverse Osmosis System

January 5, 2023 - The Reverse Osmosis system is online. Residents should start to see an improvement in their water quality. A notice on the RO system will be sent out next week through the post office.
You should let the system run for a 2 - 4 weeks before doing any adjusting on your water softener. The water prior to the RO was leaving the water tower at approximately 35 - 39 grains and now the RO water will leaving the water tower at 5 - 6 grains. If you choose to no longer use your water softener and want it disposed, the city will take for free if you remove it from your home. Please call city offices, 507-674-3018 to schedule a pickup of old water softeners.
