Council Meeting Reminder

The Amboy City Council meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00PM at City Hall.
MEETING DATE CHANGE - The months of March, April, May and June 2024 the council meetings will be held on the 2nd Monday of the month.
The public is always welcome.

Ends: 6/4/2024 - 2:00 PM
Payment must be made to city hall in advance. Once items are paid for, public works will pick up.

City Wide Garage Sales

Amboy City Wide Garage Sales - May 10 and May 11.

Lions Brat/Hotdog & Bake Sale on Friday, May 10 from 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM - held at the firestation
Jackson Lake Church will have Bake/Lefsa Sale on Saturday, May 11 from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM - 131 4th Ave South
Farmers Market
Begins: 5/16/2024 - 4:30 PM
Ends: 10/17/2024 - 6:30 PM
Farmer's Market will be starting on Thursday, May 16 at the Amboy City Park. It will be every Thursday, until fall.
Hours will be 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
Come support local vendors and purchase a variety of items such as eggs, vegetables, baked goods, freeze dried candies, plants, etc.
Clean Up Day
Begins: 5/18/2024 - 7:00 AM
Ends: 5/18/2024 - 3:00 PM
Dumpsters will be located at 245 E Maine Street
Please bring your items to the dumpsters.
Acceptable Items
General Non-Hazardous Household Waste - "JUNK"
Furniture - Couches, Chairs, Tables, Etc.
Small Electronics and Small Appliances - Toasters, Coffee Pots, Blenders, Radios, etc.
All items should be bagged, boxed, or contained in a manageable manner
NO TIRES, MATTRESSES, BOX SPRINGS OR SOFA BEDS
